"New initiative in Denmark to move users from illegal to legal offer websites"

On 9 October 2018, a new campaign linked to the national portal Share With Care was launched in Denmark.

Share With Care is a joint campaign supported by RettighedsAlliancen, the Danish Ministry of Culture, the Telecom Industry Association and the Confederation of Danish Industry.

The campaign was first launched back in 2012, and these fresh efforts aim to build on the successful groundwork already set by the initial campaign.

The influence of illegal offer websites is becoming increasingly prevalent, affecting the legal market for cultural products. This new initiative aims to limit illegal consumption by stopping users heading to illegal offer websites and helping them find content legally.

Visitors to illegal offer websites will be met by a notice that will guide them to a legal version of the content they were looking for.

Search through the Danish portal www.sharewithcare.dk to find new contents and to try the new search engine FilmFinder, developed as a part of the campaign.
