"New initiative in Denmark to move users from illegal to legal offer websites"
On 9 October 2018, a new campaign linked to the national portal Share With Care was launched in Denmark.
Share With Care is a joint campaign supported by RettighedsAlliancen, the Danish Ministry of Culture, the Telecom Industry Association and the Confederation of Danish Industry.
The campaign was first launched back in 2012, and these fresh efforts aim to build on the successful groundwork already set by the initial campaign.

"The agorateka roadshow met interested stakeholders in Zagreb, Croatia"
On September 12, the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) of the Republic of Croatia kindly hosted the agorateka roadshow. The agorateka delegation presented the European online content portal project to an audience of national experts from both the public and private sectors.
The aim of the roadshow was to meet stakeholders face-to-face in countries that have not yet joined agorateka, in order to guide them in setting up their own national portals where their citizens can easily find legal content.

"Thecontentmap.nl joins agorateka"
On 1 August 2018 the Dutch portal thecontentmap.nl joined the agorateka initiative with a link to its platform, on which citizens can search around 170 legal offers for film and tv, music, games, e-books and images.
Created in 2014, thecontentmap.nl guides you to legal and safe digital content services.

"Slovak Republic created agorateka Slovakia and joined the network"
On 27 July 2018, Slovakia joined the agorateka initiative with a new national portal, created with the assistance of the EUIPO portal toolkit.
The Slovak Republic is the 17th European country to join agorateka, with ‘agorateka Slovakia’ the 20th portal linked to the aggregator.
Users of ‘agorateka Slovakia’ will have access to 17 legal offer sites offering films, music, TV archives, sporting events, Xbox games, e-books, internet TV and paid streaming of audiovisual works.

"The Netherlands join agorateka with “Film.nl”"
The Netherlands linked their first portal, ‘Film.nl’, to agorateka on 4 June 2018, becoming the 16th country to join the agorateka network. There are now 19 portals linked to agorateka, referencing more than 1 400 legal offer sites.
‘Film.nl’ is a popular website that has found its way into many Dutch living rooms. It is a unique collaboration project between film producers, distributors, broadcasters, online providers and other stakeholders. Visit the website or download the app to find films and TV series safely and quickly.

By the end of 2018, a communication campaign will help increase the visibility of national portals.
We are envisaging an EU-wide communication campaign by the end of the year to raise the profile of the national portals.
The campaign will promote national portals as the best places to find legal offer content online.
The campaign will be adapted to each member state and feature the details of each national portal.

With Sweden joining earlier this month, agorateka now has the potential to reach 2/3 of EU consumers.
Since its launch in September 2016, the European online content portal is quickly gaining recognition.
Even outside the EU: Switzerland became a member in March 2018.

"Sweden joins agorateka with the brand new national portal ‘Streamalagligt.se’ "
On April 9 2018, Sweden has joined agorateka through Streamalagligt.se (‘stream legally’). The Swedish Patent and Registration Office (PRV) has worked hard to create a brand new national aggregator. The EUIPO’s toolkit was used as a base, but the design is definitely Swedish.
